Agenda Annual Parish Meeting - May 2025

Dear Sir/Madam,
I hereby give you notice that the Annual Parish Meeting (Meeting of the Electorate) will be held on Tuesday 20 May 2025, 6.30pm - 8pm at the Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Ruskington, NG34 9DX. Please note, this is NOT a parish council meeting but will be hosted by the Chairman of Council.
Please come along and meet your councillors and representatives from LCC Flood Team, Sleaford Police Neighbourhood Response Team, Ruskington Community Library, Witham Archaeology, One You Lincolnshire, the Methodist Church, Ruskington Parish Council, All Saints Church, South Lincs Church, Meadow Wellbeing Hub), Ruskington Area Veterans’ Group, Ruskington Bowls Club, Ruskington WI; suggest ideas for village projects, and raise questions on council business.
The doors open at 6pm and complimentary light refreshments will be served before the meeting.

1. Welcome and opening address by the Chairman of Council.
2. To receive recommendations for Lincolnshire County Council following the Section 19 investigation into flood events in Ruskington - Matthew Harrison (Flood and Water Manager at LCC).
3. To receive the notes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 12 March 2024.
4. To receive the Chairman’s Annual Report for FY 2024-2025.
5. To receive a Financial Report - Miss Kirsty Sinclair (RFO).
6. To receive questions from the public regarding Council business between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025, and to receive ideas for future village projects.
7. To receive the Annual Report on behalf of North Kesteven District Council from D/Cllrs R Wright and M Waldeck, if available.
8. To receive the Annual Report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council from Councillor Wright, and an update on changes to local government, if available.
There will be opportunity to meet your neighbours, visit the information stands, and talk to your Councillors before the meeting to find out about Council and other projects being planned for our village.
