Notice of the Annual Parish Meeting 2026
Dear Sir/Madam,
The Chairman of Ruskington Parish Council cordially invites you to the Annual Parish Meeting (Meeting of the Electorate) on Tuesday 26 May 2026, commencing at 6.30pm at the Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Ruskington, NG34 9DX. Please note, this is NOT a parish council meeting but will be hosted by the Chairman of Council.
From 4pm, before the formal meeting begins, there will be an opportunity to meet your councillors, visit the information stands of agencies, village groups and churches, and get to know your neighbours, whilst enjoying complimentary refreshments.

1. Welcome and opening address – Cllr Owen Ditch (Chairman of Council)
2. Guest speakers – Matthew Bentley & Laura Sutcliffe (NKDC Conservation Officers) – Creating a Conservation Area in Ruskington village centre.
3. Guest speakers - Dannie Adcock-Habib & Kimberley Pickett (National Flood Forum & Lincolnshire Resilience Team) - Community Emergency Planning.
4. To receive /approve the notes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 20 May 2025.
5. To receive the Parish Council’s Annual Report 2025-2026, and achievements, and plans for future projects from Cllr Ditch.
6. To receive questions from the public regarding Council business between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026, and to receive ideas for future village projects.
7. To receive the Annual Report on behalf of North Kesteven District Council from D/Cllrs R Wright and M Waldeck, if available.
8. To receive the Annual Report on behalf of Lincolnshire County Council from Councillor Wright, and an update on changes to local government, if available.
