FAQs
1. Is water available on-site?
Yes, there are 4 water troughs on-site. We encourage allotment holders to use water responsibly, especially during dry periods.
2. What can I grow?
Allotment holders can grow most fruits, vegetables, and flowers, but please avoid planting any invasive species or large trees that might overshadow neighbouring plots. If in doubt, feel free to ask for guidance!
3. Are there tools or facilities provided?
While we don’t provide tools, each plot holder is welcome to bring their own gardening equipment. We do have a composting area on-site for shared use, and the water supply is available for everyone.
4. Can I transfer my allotment to someone else if I no longer need it?
Allotment plots are allocated by the Parish Council, so if you decide to give up your plot, please let us know so we can offer it to the next person on our waiting list.
5. How is maintenance of the overall site handled?
All plot holders are responsible for maintaining their own allotments. The Parish Council oversees the general upkeep of pathways and communal areas to keep the site safe and welcoming for everyone.
