June 2024 - Parish Council agree to obtain quotes for professional plans for the refrubishment.
October 2024 - Councillors met with the project architect to finalise plans for the Pavilion@Parkfield transformation. This exciting project aims to convert the existing pavilion into a community café, creating a vibrant social hub for residents. As part of the planning, options to extend the car park were also discussed. An expanded car park would improve accessibility for visitors, encourage more local events, and reduce congestion in surrounding areas. The finalised plans, including potential car park improvements, will soon be submitted for planning approval.
