A colorful poster promoting a litter competition, featuring engaging graphics and text encouraging participation.

Ruskington Parish Council is inviting local children to get creative in the fight against litter!

We’re running an Anti-Littering Poster Competition for primary-aged children in Ruskington. The winning design will be displayed around the village in areas where littering is a real problem.

This is a great way for children to show their creativity while helping to spread a positive message in the community.

How to Enter:

  • Create a bold, colourful A4 poster

  • Include a clear message: Use a bin or take it home

  • On the back, write the child’s name, age, school and a contact number, agreed with a parent/guardian

  • Submit by post to:
Ruskington Parish Council, 7–9 High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY

  • Or email a photo/scan of the poster to: clerk@ruskington-pc.gov.uk

Deadline for Entries:
Wednesday 31 July 2025

Prizes and Recognition:

  • The top 3 designs will receive printed certificates

  • The winning poster will be displayed around Ruskington

  • We hope to announce the winner at a community event in September (to be confirmed)

Get Creative – Make a Difference!
