Ruskington Parish Council warmly invites all residents and local businesses to join us in commemorating Remembrance Sunday on 9 November 2025.
This annual event is a time for our community to come together in honour of those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
Order of Events
- 9:30am – Church Service at All Saints Church
- 10:30am – Procession assembles on Chapel Street
- 10:40am – Procession moves along Church Street to the Garden of Remembrance
- 11:00am – Act of Remembrance at the Garden of Remembrance (junction of Sleaford Road and Rectory Road), including the two-minute silence, wreath laying, and the National Anthem
All are welcome to remain afterwards for a short period of reflection.
Road Closures and Traffic Management
To ensure the safety of all participants, a Temporary Traffic Restriction Order (TTRO) has been granted by Lincolnshire County Council (Ref: RAE000749). This allows for temporary road closures and traffic diversions during the event.
Closures will be in place between 10:15am and 11:30am, and will be lifted as soon as it is safe to do so. Access to properties and businesses will be maintained throughout.
Volunteer stewards from the Parish Council and local community will be stationed at key points to assist with traffic management and provide information to drivers.
A Community Effort
We thank all those who are helping to make this event possible, including our volunteer stewards, procession participants, and residents for their understanding and cooperation.
Let us come together as a village to honour the fallen and support one another in remembrance.
