Free Health Checks in Sleaford – March 2026
One You Lincolnshire will be providing free “Healthy Lifestyle MOTs” at locations across the county in March.
A local session will take place in Sleaford on Monday 16 March, from 10am to 1pm, at Eslaforde Gardens (NG34 7JE).
Checks include height, weight, blood pressure, carbon monoxide levels, and general wellbeing advice. No appointment is needed—residents can simply drop in.
British Sign Language Courses Now Available
Lincolnshire County Council has introduced new “Introduction to British Sign Language” courses. These will run across spring and summer 2026, with in‑person sessions in Grantham and Mablethorpe, as well as flexible online options.
‘Made With Love’ Upcycled Furniture Project
A new county‑wide initiative is taking donated furniture and restoring it for individuals and families in need. The project supports waste reduction, community wellbeing, and local households facing hardship.
Plans are underway to expand donation and collection days later in the year.
