Local Nature Recovery Strategy Consultation
Residents are invited to share their views on the draft Local Nature Recovery Strategy, which sets out proposals to improve habitats and biodiversity across Lincolnshire. The consultation is open until 8 March 2026.
New Consultation Newsletter
NKDC has launched a new newsletter dedicated to local consultations and surveys. It includes opportunities for residents to have their say on a variety of district-wide matters.
Weather and Emergency Preparedness Information
Useful information and advice from the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum is available online, offering guidance on preparing for and responding to severe weather and emergencies.
Local Government Reorganisation Consultation
Government has launched a statutory consultation on proposals for Local Government Reorganisation across Greater Lincolnshire. Residents, businesses and parish councils are encouraged to respond by 26 March 2026.
Food Waste Recycling – Caddy Deliveries
Food waste caddy deliveries are underway ahead of the launch of NKDC’s new food waste collection service on 30 March 2026.
Residents should begin using their caddies from 23 March. Some caddies also contain lucky orange tickets offering prizes donated by local businesses.
Council Tax Details – Important Reminder
Residents are encouraged to ensure the names listed on their council tax accounts are correct so that bills, discounts and exemptions are applied properly.

NKDC offers a wide range of online services, including reporting issues, checking bin collection days, managing council tax, and assessing eligibility for support.
Telephone assistance is available during weekday office hours for those unable to complete tasks online.
