Ruskington Parish Council would like to share several updates from the HWLincs February 2026 Newsletter that may be of particular interest to our residents.
These items relate to local health and care developments, opportunities to share experiences, and ways to get involved in shaping Lincolnshire’s health services.
2026 VOICE Conference – Sleaford
HWLincs will be holding the 2026 VOICE Conference at the New Life Conference Centre, Sleaford, in May. The event will include the launch of the latest State of Health and Care in Lincolnshire findings, interactive workshops, and discussions on community involvement in future health planning. This offers residents an opportunity to contribute to shaping local health and care services.
Cancer Carers Project – Call for Experiences
HWLincs is inviting carers to share their experiences to help improve support for people affected by cancer. This includes:
• Carers supporting someone living with or beyond cancer
• Carers who have cancer themselves
Resident feedback will help shape improved information and support for those in caring roles.
Healthwatch Lincolnshire – Public Surveys
Healthwatch Lincolnshire is seeking residents’ views on local health and care services. By taking part, residents can directly influence how services are planned and monitored across the county. A range of surveys is available depending on personal experience.
Volunteer and Participation Opportunities
HWLincs is looking for volunteers and individuals interested in joining committees, boards, or the Healthwatch Lincolnshire Steering Group. These roles help ensure that local voices guide health and care priorities in Lincolnshire.
If you would like assistance in accessing any of the projects or surveys mentioned above, please contact HWLincs.
