Ruskington residents who rely on heating oil may be eligible for £300 financial support to help with rising energy costs.

Lincolnshire Community Foundation has launched the Crisis & Resilience Fund – Oil Support, funded through a UK Government initiative and delivered locally by Lincolnshire County Council. The scheme aims to support households who use heating oil as their main source of heating and hot water and who may be at risk of losing access to essential warmth.

The support is provided as a one-off £300 voucher towards heating oil costs. More than 5,000 households across Lincolnshire are expected to benefit.

You may be eligible if:

  • Your household income is below £36,000
  • You have savings under £6,000
  • Heating oil is your main source of heating and hot water
  • You are at risk of losing access to heating or hot water
