A big thank you to everyone who took part in our recent Community Litter Pick.
In total, 10 litter pickers gave their time to help tidy up Parkfield Playing Fields and the surrounding footpaths, collecting six bags of rubbish over the course of the session. Your efforts have made a real, visible difference to a much‑used area of the village.
We did notice a large number of small pieces of tape, particularly on the North Fields, which are likely linked to football activity. This highlights the importance of working together to look after our shared spaces.
Ruskington Parish Council is very grateful to everyone who came along and helped. Community efforts like this play an important role in keeping the village clean, safe, and welcoming.
