duck hunt

Ruskington Parish Council is pleased to share that the Party in the Garden & Duck Hunt, held on Monday 4th May 2026, was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by residents of all ages.

The Community Garden and Orchard was busy throughout the day, with families, volunteers, community groups and performers coming together to create a welcoming and relaxed village event. From the Duck Hunt in the morning to the afternoon activities, there was plenty for everyone to enjoy.
Reflecting on the event, the Chairman of Ruskington Parish Council said:

“The results are in. The verdict: the Duck Hunt and family day was a great success.
Encouraged by the ringing endorsements for their hard work, our newly formed Events Committee plan bigger and better spectacles in the future.
Watch out for details of a Summer Youth Event and a Winter Christmas Market.
But remember, these occasions depend on your participation so thank you all, for your continued support.”

The Parish Council would like to thank all residents who attended, along with the many community groups, stallholders, performers and volunteers who gave their time and energy to support the day. Events like this are only possible thanks to the involvement and goodwill of the whole community.
Plans are already underway for future events, and we look forward to sharing more details soon. We hope to see you at our next community occasion.
