Want to know what your Parish Council does? This series of articles will highlight some of the Parish Council's responsibilities, services and projects.
Ruskington Village has 5 public access Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
These are located at,
- The Winchelsea Centre, 11 High Street North, NG34 9DY
- The Co-op, High Street North, NG34 9DY
- The Village Hall , Parkfield Road, NG34 9HT
- Ruskington Medical Centre, 6 Brookside Close, NG34 9GQ
- Station Road, opposite bottom of the railway bridge, NG34 9BZ
These are free to use by the members of the public. Upon calling the emergency services, they will be able to instruct you on where to go and how to access the defibrillator, if needed. But its always good to have a mental note of where the nearest one is.
Ruskington Parish Council is responsible for the maintenance of 2 of these AEDs, (Winchelsea Centre and Ruskington Medical Practice).
Besides his normal duties, our Administration Assistant, Scott, carries out weekly checks of these AEDs to ensure that they are ready to go when needed.
