Ruskington Parish Council and the Events Team would like to thank everyone who attended the Celebration of Youth Day at Parkfield Recreation Grounds on Saturday 15 August.
The event brought together young people, families, community groups, and local organisations for a day packed with activities and entertainment. From the climbing wall and inflatables to face painting, basketball, graffiti art, and the gaming van, it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the facilities and spending time together.
One of the highlights of the day was the impressive 6-metre graffiti mural created with contributions from attendees throughout the event. The mural proved extremely popular, and consideration is now being given to how it might be preserved and incorporated into the Pavilion Refurbishment Project.
We are grateful to all of the activity providers, volunteers, councillors, staff, and residents who helped make the day possible.
