We're pleased to share an update on the new 4G pitch at the MUGA.
Following the handover meeting, some additional work was identified around the edge of the playing surface. To address this, Fosse Contracts Ltd will be installing a perimeter kick board at their own expense on Thursday 3 September.
The pitch will remain closed while this final work is completed. It is hoped that the facility will be ready to open on Friday 4 September, subject to inspection and sign-off by the Council.
We appreciate everyone's patience while we make sure the new facility meets the required standards before opening for community use.
We'll share a further update as soon as we have confirmation of the reopening date.
