Ruskington Parish Council is inviting quotations from suitably qualified contractors for works associated with the new 4G pitch at Parkfield Recreation Ground.
The project involves the installation of a concrete slab sterile strip around the perimeter of the pitch. The works are intended to provide a clean and durable boundary area surrounding the playing surface.
Scope of Works
The successful contractor will be required to:
- Excavate existing ground around the full perimeter of the area.
- Remove and dispose of all excavated materials off site.
- Supply and install concrete slabs on a suitable concrete base.
- Infill gaps between slabs and between the slabs and the edge of the 4G pitch.
- Make good the completed area.
- Provide a final handover of the works.
Contractor Requirements
To ensure all quotations are based on a full understanding of the site and project requirements, contractors must:
- Visit the site before submitting a quotation.
- Provide evidence of appropriate insurance cover.
- Supply a method statement for the proposed works.
