Residents will soon need to book a slot before visiting a Household Waste Recycling Centre in Lincolnshire.
From 7 December 2026, a new booking system will be introduced at all Lincolnshire recycling centres. Residents will be able to start making bookings from 30 November 2026.
The change is being introduced to help reduce queues, ease congestion and improve safety at busy times. By spreading visits more evenly throughout the day, the county council hopes to make visits smoother and more predictable for everyone.
There will be enough booking slots to accommodate current demand, and a proportion of appointments will also be available for same-day booking, subject to availability.
If you plan to visit a recycling centre after 7 December, please remember to book before you set off.
