Dear Village Residents, We hope this message finds you safe and well during these challenging times.
We want to address the recent flooding in our village, which has unfortunately left our parish council resources, including sandbags, exhausted. The recent heavy rains have overwhelmed our local capacity, and we need to take necessary steps to ensure everyone's safety.
In light of this, we kindly request that any further requests for sandbags or flood assistance are now to be directed to Lincolnshire County Council. They will be coordinating resources on a priority basis to ensure that those most in need receive assistance promptly.

We understand that this situation is far from ideal, but by centralising the allocation of resources, we hope to better address the most urgent needs and keep everyone as safe as possible during this difficult time.
