Restoring Horseshoe Hollow project awarded Highly Commended by the judges of the Lincolnshire Environment Awards 2021.

Ruskington Parish Council's "Restoring Horseshoe Hollow" project receives a Highly Commended certificate in the Lincolnshire Environment Awards 2021.

Ruskington Parish Council was delighted to receive a Highly Commended Certificate in the Lincolnshire Environment Awards 2021 for its "Restoring Horsehoe Hollow" project. Roger Pavey, on behalf of the Award Scheme presented the certificate on 7 October 2021 to Cllr Graham Conway - Chairman of Council and the Environment Committee, Andrew Doughty -  Environment Caretaker and Cllr Sarah Tonge - Vice-Chairman of Council and member of the Environment Committee. 

The judges were impressed with the new project, the site, and its potential, and offered to support the Council in maximising the nature conservation in the Hollow.

Thanks go to the Friends of Horseshoe Hollow for their role in regular litter picks of the area to ensure it is a pleasant place for all to enjoy.
