NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE HR COMMITTEE

 

Dear Councillor,

You are hereby summoned to attend a committee meeting of the HR committee for Ruskington Parish Council which will be held on Tuesday 19 March 2024 at 12 noon at Ruskington Parish Office, 7-9 High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend. Please contact the Clerk on clerk@ruskingtonpc.org.uk  in advance of the meeting to arrange this. All members of the HR Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda

1. To elect a Chairman for the Committee for the remainder of the civic year.

2. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.

3. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications for dispensations in relation to DPIs.

4. To approve as a correct record the notes of the last HR Committee meeting held on 18 April 2023.

5. To elect a Vice-chairman for the committee for the remainder of the civic year.

6. To review the draft Terms of Reference for the Committee for recommending to Council at its next meeting.

7. To consider the new sexual harassment information and requirements for councils as published in the LALC e-news dated 9 February 2024.

8. To arrange a consultation with the Environment Caretaker regarding proposed changes to his job description in view of his chain saw training in May 2024.

9.  To resolve whether to exclude the public and press, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, to discuss the following staffing matters. Should this resolution be passed, members of the public and press will be required to leave the meeting. The meeting will end, and a further meeting of the Council will be convened immediately.

10. To consider staff health and welfare.
