Notice of a meeting for Ruskington Parish Council Office Relocation Committee

          

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hereby give you notice that a meeting of the Ruskington Parish Council Office Relocation Committee will be held on Monday 20 September 2021 starting at 11.30am at Ruskington Parish Office, 7-9 High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend the meeting but must contact the Clerk prior to the meeting to arrange this, and are welcome to submit questions or short statements to the Clerk in advance of the meeting.  All Members of the Office Relocation Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

                                                       Agenda

1. Apologies for absence - to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.

2. To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011- being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests.

3. To approve as a correct record the notes of the last Office Relocation Committee meeting held remotely on Monday 16 February 2021.

4. Expenditure to date.

5. To receive an update on the application for borrowing approval.

6. To consider the best source of funding to purchase the property to be used as a parish office. (Public Works Loan Board (PWLB) or North Kesteven District Council (NKDC) for recommending to Council.)

7. To consider the term of the loan repayments based on the latest interest information available.

8. To review the funding agreement received from NKDC, and consider seeking legal advice to confirm the agreement is satisfactory.  (Approx. cost £250.00.)

9. To resolve whether to exclude the public and press, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, to discuss the following legal matters. Should this resolution be passed, members of the public and press will be required to leave the meeting / the remote meeting will end and a further meeting of the Council will be convened immediately.

10. To receive an update on the continuation of the lease until the property can be purchased.
