I hereby give notice that a meeting of the Recreation Committee of Ruskington Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 28th July 26 at 6.30pm at Ruskington Parish Office, 7-9 High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend and may ask questions or make short statements to the Committee during the Public Session. Alternatively, questions or statements can be submitted to the Clerk prior to the meeting.
All members of the Recreation Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda
1. To elect a Chair of the Recreation Committee for the civic year.
2. To elect a Vice-chair of the Recreation Committee for the civic year.
3. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.
4. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications for dispensations in relation to DPIs. Disclosure of Pecuniary and Non-Pecuniary Interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any applications for dispensations in relation to DPIs. The need for Disclosure is to be based upon agenda items or at any suitable time during the meeting when it becomes apparent to a member.
5. To review the Terms of Reference for the Recreation Committee and consider any amendments for recommending to full council.
6. To review recreation expenditure to date.
7. To receive an update from the RFO on recent Recreation matters including:
7.1. The lease for Hillside Play Area
7.2. The quotes for wetpour surfacing at Beck Close
7.3. The 4G surface at Parkfield
7.4. The pavilion renovation
8. To consider the application from a resident to hold a charity event at Parkfield on the 18th June 2026 and consider any fees for use of the facilities.
9. To consider the Finley Fundraiser Group holding another event in July 2027 and consider any fees for use of the facilities.
10. To consider arrangements for the Lions JFC to use alternative facilities during the pavilion renovation.
11. To consider future storage requirements for recreation and maintenance equipment.
12. To review the fees for hiring the facilities at Parkfield for the 26/27 and 27/28 including block bookings or annual booking discount for the 4G pitch.
13. To review the regulations and signage for the new 4G pitch.
14. To consider the expenditure for the shared maintenance of the 4G pitch and any maintenance equipment required.
15. To consider ways to increase the range of sports and recreational activities offered at Parkfield playing fields.
16. To consider any projects and expenditure to inform the 27-28 budget.
17. To agree the dates and times for the next Recreation Committee meetings.
