NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE  

HR COMMITTEE  

A committee meeting of the HR committee for Ruskington Parish Council which will be held remotely using MS 365 Teams on Monday 8 March 2021 at 10 am. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend. Please contact the Clerk on clerk@ruskingtonpc.org.uk  in advance of the meeting to arrange. 

All members of the HR Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda 

1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting. 

2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications for dispensations in relation to DPIs.  

3. To approve as a correct record the notes of the last HR Committee meeting held remotely on Tuesday 2 March 2021. 

4. To receive an update on DBS requirements for council operatives. 

5. To receive an update on a bodycam for use by the environment warden and agree any expenditure. 

6. To resolve whether to exclude the public and press, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, to discuss the following legal and staffing matters. Should this resolution be passed, members of the public and press will be required to leave the meeting. 

7. To receive an update on the review of  the documentation and procedure for staff recruitment. 

8. To review the proposed operative roles.  

9. To consider a redundancy following a rationalisation of the Council’s workforce. 

10. To consider the next steps in the rationalisation and recruitment process.  

11. Agree the date of the next HR Committee meeting.
