Minutes of a Planning Committee meeting held on Tuesday 12 July 2022 at the Winchelsea Centre, 11 High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY at 6.30pm.  

 

Present:

Cllr Trolley, Cllr Tonge, Cllr Conway  

Also, in attendance: 

Miss Kirsty Sinclair (RFO to the Parish Council) 

 

Public Session: No members of the public were present. 

 

The Chairman opened the meeting at 6.00pm. 

 

1. Apologies for absence.  

All Committee members were present.  

 

2.  To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011- being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests. 

None were declared at this time. 

 

3. To approve the notes of the planning meeting held on 10 May 2022 as accurate Minutes. 

Action: The Committee RESOLVED to approve the notes as accurate Minutes of the meeting. Proposed by Cllr Trolley, seconded by Cllr Cunningham and approved with two votes for and two abstentions (not present at the previous meeting.) 

 

4. To consider the following planning applications: 

   4.1. Planning Application Reference: 22/0840/FUL 

Proposal: Siting of a single storey modular classroom building for a 5-year period 

Location: St Georges Academy Sleaford Road Ruskington Sleaford Lincolnshire 

Action: The Committee RESOLVED to support this application. 

 

   4.2. Application Reference: 22/0218/FUL 

Proposal: Proposed conversion and extension of outbuilding for taxi business use 

and first floor residential flat. (Revised application.) 

Location: 18 High Street South Ruskington Sleaford 

Action: The Committee RESOLVED to support this application. 

 

5. To receive notice of applications APPROVED by NKDC. 

   5.1. Application Reference: 22/0352/HOUS 

Proposal: Demolition of existing garages and sheds and erection of single storey side 

extension and front porch 

Location: 8 Priory Close Ruskington  

 

   5.2. Application Reference: 22/0636/FUL 

Proposal: Change of use from residential to office space (Use Class E(g)(i)) 

Location: 9A High Street North Ruskington Sleaford 

 

   5.3. Application Reference: 22/0598/HOUS 

Proposal: Erection of a single-storey rear extension and demolition of existing garage. 

Location: 93 Westcliffe Road Ruskington Sleaford. 

 

   5.4. Application Reference: 22/0683/HOUS 

Proposal: Proposed two storey side and rear extension 

Location: Westbrook House 49 Sleaford Road Ruskington 

 

6. To consider notifications of applications new and approved received since the publication of the agenda. 

No other applications were received.
