NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE HR COMMITTEE

Dear Councillor,

You are hereby summoned to attend a committee meeting of the HR committee for Ruskington Parish Council which will be held on Thursday 28 April 2022 at 10.30am at Ruskington Parish Office, 7-9 High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend. Please contact the Clerk on clerk@ruskingtonpc.org.uk  in advance of the meeting to arrange this. All members of the HR Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda

1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.

2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications for dispensations in relation to DPIs.

3. To approve as a correct record the notes of the last HR Committee meeting held on 3 March 2022.

4. To consider including “communications” within the scope of this committee.

5. To consider how to support Mental Health Awareness Week,  9-15 May 2022. (Information previously circulated in the LALC e-news, 19 April 2022, pp. 4 & 5).

5. To resolve whether to exclude the public and press, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, to discuss the following staffing matters. Should this resolution be passed, members of the public and press will be required to leave the meeting. The meeting will end, and a further meeting of the Council will be convened immediately.

6. To consider a request made to the Clerk by an employee on Monday 25 April 2022, following health concerns.

7. To receive an update on an employee’s performance following the issue of a final written warning.

   7.1. To agree the date for the next review and welfare meeting with this employee.
