Notice of a meeting of the Estate Management Committee
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hereby give you notice that a meeting of the Estate Management Committee of Ruskington Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 15 November 2022 at 7pm at Ruskington Parish Office, High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY. A public session will commence at 7pm and members of the public and press are welcome to attend and may ask questions or make short statements to the Committee at this time. Due to the venue, please contact the Clerk in advance of the meeting for this to be arranged. Alternatively, you may submit a question or short statement to the Clerk in advance of the meeting.
All Councillor Members of the Estate Management Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda
1. To elect a Chairman for the Estate Management Committee.
2. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.
3. Receive declarations of interest and consider applications for dispensations in relation to DPIs.
Disclosure of Pecuniary and Non-Pecuniary Interests is to be in accordance with the Localism Act 2011. The need for Disclosure is to be based upon agenda items or at any suitable time during the Meeting when it becomes apparent to a Member.
4. To elect a Vice-chairman for the Committee.
5. To agree the Terms of Reference for the Committee.
6. Finances:
6.1. To receive an update on the current budget for the Committee.
6.2. To consider projects, building work, and the budget requirements for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
7. To consider storage solutions for Council equipment and supplies to avoid storing items outside in the yard and community garden.
8. To consider the future use of the garage/workshop.
8.1. To consider replacing the roof on the garage/workshop which is leaking.
9. To consider fencing and a gate to separate the rear of the property from the yard / community garden.
10. To consider the RFO applying for funding to refurbish the public toilets.
11. To resolve whether to exclude the public and press, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, to discuss the following contractual and staffing matters. Should this resolution be passed, members of the public and press will be required to leave the meeting. The meeting will end, and a further meeting of the Council will be convened immediately.
12. To open and consider the tender applications for the refurbishment and conversion of the parish office property.
12.1. To agree the contractor for the project management and building works for recommending to Council at an extra-ordinary meeting on 22 November 2022.
13. Agree date for the next committee meeting.
