Notice of a Meeting of the HR Committee
Dear Councillor,
You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the HR Committee for Ruskington Parish Council which will be held on Thursday 17 October 2024 at 10.30am at Ruskington Parish Office, 7-9 High Street North, Ruskington, NG34 9DY. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend. All members of the HR Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda
1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Parish Clerk prior to the meeting.
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider applications for dispensations in relation to DPIs.
3. To approve as a correct record the notes of the last HR Committee meeting held on 19 September 2024.
4. To review the following policies: -
4.1. Volunteer policy
4.2. Health & Safety policy
4.3. Communication policy
5. To receive/ consider the latest information on statutory sick pay from the government, if available.
6. To receive information on the statutory obligations for employers introduced by government in September and October 2024.
7. To resolve whether to exclude the public and press, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960, to discuss the staffing matters below. Should this resolution be passed, members of the public and press will be required to leave the meeting. The meeting will end, and a further meeting of the Council will be convened immediately.
8. To receive the financial costs for the pension contributions paid by Council to staff in the FY 2023-2024.
9. To receive an update on the workloads of the Environment and Building caretakers.
10. To agree the date for the next HR Committee meeting.
